No sound in multiplayer

Does anyone else have trouble with sound in multiplayer? I have sound in the main menu and in single player, but when I go to multiplayer, the sound disappears. I have sound during loading screens, but nothing else. Any one know what the problem might be? Not fun playing without sound, really annoying.

Realize that this is an old topic, but I would really like an answer to this as I want to get back into the DAI multiplayer. Since the game has launched, I have not had sound in multiplayer

Edit: Should note that I'm playing this on PC, and that I have zero issues with sound in regards with the single player. The lack of sound only occurs in multiplayer

i had a problem with sound too. From time to time the sound disapear in MP. A friend told me to change from Headphones to Home Theater . After i changed it i haven´t got  problems anymore.

I've tried Headphones, Home Theater, and Night. I've tried having the sound ignore window status. These have not helped in my case.

I'm going to try checking for updates and fixes in general next...
