No banter

After a 5 month hiatus I decided to return to DA:I for another play through. I think since yesterday I've played roughly 15 hours, and I'm noting that there's been hardly any banter between my party members. The only thing I can recall being said is banter between Sera and Dorian, but other than that it's just been silence and fighting. Is there any fix for this?

Are you playing on PC? If so, you can use mods. I believe there are mods that allow you to manually fire the dynamic conversations, but if you want banter to come up organically, you can use NewExperienceTable. This is a mod that adjusts character progression and has the accidental side effect of making banter trigger more rapidly.
