 - My EA account is linked to my PSN account as displayed in Personas Under Account Check

 - Same email used on both EA Account & PSN Account

 - Clicked the import button on Keep + telling me to verify when starting on new game

 - Got on the game on my PS5 -> Only displaying default world state, no pop up of importing a custom world state

Any Solution?

Hey all,

Recently replaying DAO & 2. Just downloaded Inquisition today, and although on DA Keep it says that my world state is being exported successfully, on creation of a new character in Inquisition I only have access to the default world state. My game is unable to connect to the DA servers, tried numerous restarts, unticking and resetting boxes on account in-game but to no avail. I have all 3 games through Xbox Gamepass and am playing on PC.

@Bambo_Unchained So all world states should say default world state. They are never renamed if you do so or make changes. Check out this link here. It should give you a lot of steps to help with this one.

As for the error you get, this is because the social.bioware.com site no longer exists, so all that error means is that it just cannot connect to the social site. Does nothing about the content or the game in any way.

So you're saying that my world state may be importing successfully into Inquisition, but it'll still show up as \"Default world state\" because the name doesn't change? I've gone through the steps on the link you sent, but several require you to be logged into DAO & 2, and both servers are unavailable. I'm not fussed if my existing wardens and Hawkes wont sync to the keep, I just want to make sure that the world state I'm creating on the Keep is actually importing into inquisition, as when the choice to choose a world state comes up after character creation, I don't have an option for any imported world, only \"Default world state\".

@Bambo_Unchained  Essentially yes, You can test this too. 

Load into the keep with the EA account linked to the game

• Click on Default World State in the upper right corner

• Create or click on a new one
\n
• Rename it to something you will remember
\n
• Click load in the Keep
\n
• Click Export to DAI
\n
• This will override your current state - Yes
\n

Launch the game and in the settings make sure you have the following checked

• Share usage data
\n
• Always log me in
\n
• Upload game data
\n

I edited one world state below, and the other I left normal. When I create a new game, it asks if I want to import, I click yes and it says world state import successful. It just does not give the name

When it asks you to \"log in\" to DAO and DAII, all that did was connect your profile to a social site that no longer exists. Past that, does not do much for the game anymore. Just make sure the world state that you want to use is the one you manually imported into DAI from the site first and then in the game.

And now I have to start a new character because that into music is amazing.

@EA_Shepard Just went through those steps.

I made world state \"Bishbashbosh\" and exported, said on the next new game it should start with that state. No luck. See my screenshots, still only the \"Default world state\" after character creation, with no prompt for if I'd like to use an imported world state like you got. Hope you aren't too busy on the new character to respond now 😉

@Bambo_Unchained When you import it in the site, and then in game, it won't say the name of the new one you created. That is the drawback. Once imported in the site, and you load that on character creation, do you see any changes in game? 

@EA_Shepard I set the world state to say that Leliana didn't survive DAO, to see if she'd show up in the opening cutscenes. Sadly she's still there. Its like my game just isn't communicating with dragon age keep, there's no indication that any data is being downloaded.

@Bambo_Unchained Gotcha, so do this, go into the keep, lock the one you want to use. This will lock all decisions you made so nothing actually changes. Then just create a random character and import that one again and see if it pushes that through.

@EA_Shepard  Locked and exported from the keep. But in-game there's still no visible change. It feels like Keep is exporting correctly, but my game isn't downloading any data.

That is what it sounds like. Try the following and see if cleaning out some files helps with this for the game.

\n
• In the game go to settings - Account - check all three boxes
\n
• repair the game
\n
• launch and test
\n
• If it doesn't work, uncheck the boxes, repair and launch again and test it
\n
• Reset options to default as a further step
\n

Let's get rid of any outdated files from the PC that may conflict with this

\n
• Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer, type in %temp%, and hit Enter
\n
• Delete everything it allows you to delete.
\n
• Then in the same run box, type, %programdata%, and hit Enter
\n
• Delete everything in the Origin folder except the local content.
\n
• Reboot the PC
\n

There may be a cache desync from the site to the game. You may also want to clear your browser cache as well or use the keep on a mobile device with a different connection. Mobile vs WiFi etc and see if these make a difference.

Hey, Inquisitors

I wanted to drop in and provide some info on the Keep and in-game content.

The current issue(s): The Dragon Age Keep is not currently importing your world state into the game and some players are reporting that the Golden Nug is not showing up, or disappearing in a game mid-playthrough.

Status: I reported this at the end of the week last week and checked up on this. Some players have reported that keep is indeed working for them, but not all players can confirm. This is still an open issue with these issues.

I have just tested this on PS/Xbox/PC. I was only able to get one imported. The team is still working on this one. Once there is an update, we will post one here on this thread so we ask that you please not create new threads as they will be merged into this thread!

Update: We have many players reporting that they are not able to import their saves from the keep. I hopped on Xbox and was able to actually get one imported. 

One further step I would take is to log back into the Keep and sync up the data and decisions again. This way you are sure you are importing the correct data into your new game!

This is still an open issue!
