Help my DA:I wont load

Earlier today I saved my game in two different save slots just to be safe and then I turned it off after it was done saving. An hour or so later I get back on and it won't load beyond the press menu button screen or it will be just a black screen with the symbol at the bottom idle. Please help I really don't want to redo half of the game and it will be much appreciated.
