With the problems that I'm having now I don't think its that. What is occuring now is that the game's audio begins to make crackling/popping sounds while the game lags and jumps.
It doesn't happen instantly it progesses the more I play. I made a fresh reinstall and clear my partitions and re-installed windows. This still occurs.

If it isn't software (and it sounds as though you've mostly eliminated that variable) then it is hardware or drivers. Try disabling your audio devices completely through Device Manager and see if the issue persists (turn on subtitles and you can still follow the story, banter, etc). Worth a shot to eliminate the sound HW and drivers as a variable.

After disabling the Sound Drivers, the game run smoothly as it did previously. However it resulted after 15-20 minutes of a huge FPS drop staying below 20 with the game running like garbage. My CPU useage was at 40% and everything went into a fit. It gets to the point if I try to keep playing then quit the game my PC runs very slow and freezes.
This was such a mistake to purchase - I've got nothing but grief from this game!

yep this sums it up for me as well, only it can run for like a hour if lucky then happens again.
