Game crashing on launch [ Edited ]

I can't get the game to start properly. I either launch the game through Origin or from desktop, and it starts up, a window appears for a moment, expands to full screen and then immediately vanishes, crashing out.

There is no error on crash, not even in the windows system event log.

There are no errors in the install log, so nothing went wrong there either.

i've had the same problem too. I've run the update checker and repair fucntion several times and rebooted my computer as well.

It seems that if you click outside before it can launch, it'll open in a window and start normally.

Of course, it'll expand to full screen and crash once you click on it.

This happened to me too. Apparently the game has issues as soon as it goes full screen...

@AqwaGuardian That dxdiag seems to be favoring the use of your onboard graphics chipset, not your Nvidia card. Please check you Optimax profiles/power settings to ensure that the main card is being used when you play the game.

This sucks.  I have been waiting and waiting for this game and now it won't work.

This is exactly what's happening to me and I have a pretty new build and all other games are working.  Is there no fix or workaround on this?

Mine seems to be doing the same thing (or maybe I'm reading it wrong).  How do you change these settings to make it pull from the card?

Same thing happening to me. When I ran the compatibility troubleshooter it immediately came back saying that it is an "Incompatible program." How is this possible?!? And more importantly how do we fix it?
