So, I own the game through game pass. I've done everything mentioned in the comments, tried to follow them to a tee. I'm not really used to this kind of thing, so I may have done something wrong, but the game still isn't working. Is this a game pass problem, and is there anything else I can do?

@irocca98 For me the only solution was to uninstall the EA App and install the old Origin. After the Login in Origin it checked the gamefiles and after that the game could be started.

I had this problem coming from steam for 4 days now the game dose not work i try everything from clean boot to safe boots to clear temp files to no antivirus regardless of the one i use nothing worked.

I installed it on my laptop worked fine for 3 days then again it stooped, now i uninstall and delink my steam account and got it on EA and now i get this error that game is already ruining when clearly it is not its not even show on my task manager, so clearly this is a EA app issue.

Steq dude ...it worked for me as well , thank you for the past 5 days i`m stuck whit this issue, my original post on forums nobody knows what to do, i used steam on the new app and the thing was just stuck in a loop, steam tells EA app to start the game (ea app gives error game already running) when of course it was not but i never got this error so my steam app again told EA app to run the game so i was stuck in this infinite loop where EA launcher  would not lunch the game and steam keep telling the app to lunch the game but i never got any error message.

If any one from EA is readding this please fix this broken AF app and pass this info to devs or any person in charge of this disaster of an app.

Another solution that worked for me was to create a new admin user on Windows.

Just google download Origin EA you will get some links use the one for windows, might not be the first link.

Could you please send the link for the one you used? There's a lot of links and I want to make sure I'm not unlucky enough to be the one who chooses the virus.

So, I've tried everything that's been said, but none of it worked. It's likely that it's because I have it through xbox gamepass rather than steam, but it's still really annoying. Is there any way to find a product code on gamepass?

I just wanted to say that I was having this problem and here is how I fixed it

first i did the help>app recovery> clear cache

restarted computer

then I ran the EA App as Administrator

game worked fine after that.
