Game won't launch, the app says it's already running but it's not. Tried uninstalling and re-installing both the EA app and the game, cleaning up the cache, repairing the game, re-downloading it, restarting my computer, to no avail.

I'm having the exact same problem, prior to upgrading to the new EA app, I had never had any problem getting my games to run. Now all it ever says when i try and launch the game is " Game's already running, its a good one"

I updated to the EA Desktop app today, prior to that I had been playing DAI, since the update i have not been able to do so. Every time I try to launch the game it give me a pop up that says "Dragon Age Inquisition is already running, start playing, its a good one" nothing is in the task manager. I have checked exceptions in both Windows Defender, and my Avast Anti-Virus, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and the app. I have also deleted cache's, repaired the game, and tried the App Recovery function. So far nothing has helped.

Hey @ahnissa1 To confirm can you try going to the EA App > Select the top-hand menu > Help > App Recovery
and see if the app still says that DAI is running?

If you're using Team-viewer, disable it and retry. In old days with team-viewer this game couldn't start in full screen.
