Ya all should try my method, that is it worked for me, nothing to do with admin or clearing the cache, or any of the other junk that has been said.

All I did was re-download the original Origin, install and log in, then when it opened with the update to EA app, I updated, it auto closed origin and opened the EA App, after that i clicked on Dragon Age: Inquisition and it loaded, merrily playing away and have been for the last couple of hours.

Fixed it but I turned off my firewall and most security settings and ran the game as administrator. But just have to run it as administrator to get any of the games to work.

i just managed to fix this issue, first i made a new user account on my pc witch i learnt to do from https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-a-local-user-or-administrator-account-in-windows-... .When signed in as this user my games would run fine so as my main user i deleted all of the ea/origin folders in the appdata files C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming after doing this i put in the ea app data files from the other user profile and now my games launch fine

Thank you Kugrox.

This solution worked for me when none of the others would. I feel like I just got lucky, though. EA... fix this problem for good. We pay good money for these games.

I have tried every single recommendation in this thread. My pc even ended up having serious issues for a minute when trying to clean boot it and I had to let windows fix itself.

Literally NOTHING is working. Uninstalling everyting, repairing files, the game, anything else it would let me repair. I genuinely just did SO much that I can't even remember it all.

I've seen people in Facebook groups also talking about this issue and there is literally zero fix. Nothing works. Clearing cache, whatever.

It's also just the sims! literally any other game i go to play is working PERFECTLY! Nothing else is acting this way. It's 100% a sims/ea issue. This needs to be looked into and actually fixed.

We pay a lot of money for DLC for this to be something that seems to be ignored.
I genuinely can't understand why it would just be the sims having issues. I had no mods, no previous saves, everything was moved to an external MONTHS ago and it wasn't plugged in during any of the troubleshooting.

I'm not fully sure how this works. I don't know for sure if EA even look at these, but if so, please look into this issue. We literally cannot PLAY the game and it's super frustrating.

SOLVED. Funny as it sounds:

open "Date& Time" from your start menu / control panel > Synchronize again > Enjoy playing lol

Yes, just delete the game, then the ea app, search for all folders with EA or Origin and delete them all, Install the ea app again and then the game Unblcokk all ad block on your browser
