Frequent DirectX crash to desktop

I frequently crash to desktop on DAI. I did not have this problem with my R9 380 but my GTX 1080 crashes about once every 30 minutes with a direct x error, any solutions? I have tried the no scaling fix and no dice.

Could you post the exact error message?

I know of DirectX crashes that contain the words "Device lost" in the error message. I used to get these myself and in my case a clean installation of graphics drivers fixed the issue. If you haven't already, you should definitely run DDU by Wagnardsoft (preferably after rebooting Windows in safe mode). Make sure all drivers of both AMD and Nvidia are wiped, then reboot your PC and install the latest Nvidia driver.
