Error: A redistributable package (DirectX) was not installed successfully.

I have googled this over and over looking for fixes. All I find is guides saying to go into the installer__ folder and manually start the installers for DirectX but my redist folder is completely emtpy.

Any tips?

If you search your game install location for *.exe, you should find a bunch of files including the vcredist files.
