Dragon Age Server connectivity issue.

I bought this game about a week ago and from then on i have not been able to connect to the servers. I launch the game, i hit login and it says, "connecting to the dragon age server." Then it just sits there spinning. I've tried everything from opening ports to setting up a new psn account and orgin account and still nothing. Please i implore you to fix this issue. all i want is to be able to import my world state i spent many an hour playing and creating. I would appreciate a speedy fix to my issue.
