Four days I have been wasting my valuable time trying to get this damn game to run, 86 hours into the game, and i'm pretty sure the last update is responsible, I am beyond pissed, non of any of the solutions I have found online have worked. I expect more for my hard earned $80.

I run Windows 7, recently had this problem after the patch like many others, and took two steps to fixing it.
1) There seemed to be an issue with the ActivationUI getting stuck. I tried setting it to run as Administrator and it worked for one launch but not again.
2) I found a number of redundant entries for Dragon Age Inquisition in the windows firewall. I generally don't run a software firewall at all and am unsure why the Windows one was on but I turned it off and have had no problems running DA:I ever since.
I can't say if the admin flag on ActivationUI (the one in the Dragon Age folder) made a difference but everything's worked just fine since I turned off the firewall. I removed the Dragon Age entries from the registry for cleanup but I don't think that is necessary and mucking around in the registry can easily cause more harm than good.
If dropping the software firewall fixes it for anyone else and there are security concerns, hardware firewalls or even just NAT enabled routers are as good if not better overall than the build-in software. Source: Employed in ISP/Carrier security/infrastructure 2006-2015
Should these easily reverted steps fix the problem for you, please spread the word.

3 hours of EA phone support got me to do a clean boot of windows 7
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135
after the clean boot, I found the update file "cas_01.cas" to be corrupted, and could not be deleted until chdsk was run, then I updated Dragon Age Inquisition, and after 12 days I can now finally play the game.

There were only two things that caught my attention in your DxDiag report. First, it is now June, and your video graphics driver is seven months old. That seems very old, but so is your graphics card.
---------------
Display Devices
---------------
Card name: AMD Radeon HD 5800 Series
Manufacturer: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
Chip type: AMD Radeon Graphics Processor (0x6899)
Driver Attributes: Final Retail
Driver Date/Size: 11/21/2014 04:44:20, 1348928 bytes
WHQL Logo'd: Yes
The other thing I saw was that you have two different audio processors enabled, which often causes conflicts. One of those has five year old drivers. You much choose only one and disable the other, then be sure to have the newest audio driver you can find and install.

My DA: I won't launch. It says syncing and then nothing. It shows up on the task manager for a brief moment then disappears. I've tried re-installing both origin and DA: I as well as doing it in offline mode. I've tried updating drivers and optimizing settings in GeForce Experience. I've tried running the game without updates. I've tried running the game with updates. I've tried disabling the Origin overlays. Alas I can't get it to work. I need help.
