Dragon Age Inquisition unable to connect to Dragon Age server

Success!

I went to my Origin install folder and uninstalled Origin, then downloaded a fresh copy of the Origin installer from EA, reinstalled it and updated it, and now both my copies of DA:I and ME3 are connecting to the servers!
