Dragon Age Inquisition Black Emporium freezes with certain Inquisitors, PC

I've noticed a fairly big problem, and that is that the game becomes completely unresponsive during the loading screen when fast traveling to the Black Emporium, forcing me to close the game via the task manager. Out of my 3 current saves, this happens with both my male dwarven rogue and female qunari mage. However, my female elven mage can go there without any issues and make use of the mirror and buy equipment. I do have a handful of mods that change things like the Skyhold attire, but if they were the problem I would think that this would happen to the elven mage as well.

I have attempted a repair of my installation, but the results are still exactly the same: one character can freely go there while the other two always result in a freeze on the loading screen.

Ah, so it's definitely the mods.  Okay, to help narrow it down, all your Skyhold pajama mods should be fine, so don't worry about those.  Mods that crash BE most frequently are item mods, texture mods that change the Inquisitor, and mods that haven't been updated to the latest versions, so try removing War Table More Materials and the hair texture mod (this one is particularly notorious for crashing).  On the qunari hairstyle mod, one user in the comments reports crashing with the Black Emporium caused by the hair, so give removing that a shot, too.  You don't have anything that's unique to the dwarf, though, so that's weird.

There are a few specific mods that crash the Black Emporium, and some of them might be race-restricted, hence why they don't affect your elven Inquisitor.  Could you list all the ones you're using?

I did some testing with the dwarf, trying to disable the ones that only affect him, but the end result was the same. Don't think it'll be any different if I disable the qunari only mods, either. I actually have more race-specific mods that affect the elf than the other two, and some that affect all of them like the hair retexture or the hairstyle tweak that affects both the dwarf and the elf.

EDIT: turns out that disabling absolutely everything from that list does allow travel to the BE with the affected Inquisitors. Guess I'll just have to figure out which mod causes the issue.

So yeah, everything except the qunari mohawk mod, war table mod and the hair textures is now enabled and things seem to be working normally. Now I'm just scratching my head as to why either the qunari hairstyle screwed things up for the dwarf as well OR why the other two mods would've caused issues for the dwarf and qunari but not the elf.

You can't get to the BE until you activate the War Table option for it and a major element of the BE is that you can change your character's appearance, so any mods that change either the War Table or character's appearance are likely to cause issue.

As for the elf being immune maybe Xenon the Antiquarian likes Elves with mohowks? (Just kidding...I think.)

If I had to guess it might be because the elf and dwarf have different facial structures (wide for the dwarf and narrow for elf) and therefore use different models. The qunari and dwarf tend to have wider faces and certain resources may be used by both and the shared resources might be where the conflict is.

With my Elf it's the Hair mod, as my other elf has and In game Hair so she travels fine. looks like I am missing out this play through.
