I am REALLY frustrated with this issue, I played 12 hours of multi player no issue, then started playing single & get a crash at least every hour.
Its a new computer GeForce GTX 760 card.
- I have updated my graphics card
- Changed graphics settings to be lower
- turned off orgin in game
- tried repairing the game
- made my settings what is reccomened by Nivida, then by origin.
Each time I think it has worked only for it to fault again... and judging by this forum, its not my computer. They need to fix this, its a beautiful game but I can't play it.
I had a chat with an EA advisor he advised to try these. (yet to try)

But in all honesty, I think this is the generic speil they tell everyone with an issue.

I'm getting pissed off by this bug as well, Geforce GTX 560 Ti, 347.09 (Latest), and Windows 7 64 bit. I get it even while reading Codex entries. This is ridiculous.
And it's me or it gets worse as you advance in the game?

The game has now become almost unplayable. It got worse as I progressed.
This is so typical EA...

I'm also having this issue. I played the game for about 40 hours with no problem at all and only over the last 10 hours has it become an issue, and it seems to be getting worse the more I progress in the game. Was every few hours and it is more like once and hour. So frustrating! I have a brand-new Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 on Windows 7 64-bit.

I posted this on RPGwatch already.
If you get random Crash-to-the-Desktop errors with a DirectX messagebox, this helped me:

Also having this issue
Game unplayable, crashes about every other cutscene.
Running a AMD Radeon HD 6800 series, non-overclocked, GPU with the latest 14.11.2 beta driver that supposedly should fix DA:I DirectX issues.. Turns out it doesn't.
