DA:I NO DLC Voucher included

Just bought it the day before yesterday from Wal-mart, GOTY Edition. Opened the FACTORY SEALED package only to find that there was no DLC voucher included, only a Two Day trial for Live Gold. Contacted customer support and was told to call Wal-Mart, and have them give me a voucher. Makes no sense to me at all since all I need is an authentic code from someone on EA's end. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here has had a similar problem, or any type of solution that doesn't involve my giving EA more money for nothing.
