Cole recruitment glitch(Crashes everytime)

Up,now the same issue is happening when i try to turn in research at the research table...

wow surprised this is recent enough and I'm not necroposting. The research table has always done this to me while at haven but won't when you get to Skyhold. But as for this Cole thing I never had the issue cause I always chose the mages... not to mention there's instances of this bug dating back to 2014. So basically we'll never be able to play that side of the story I guess... this was the first time I chose templars because i've already done mages quite a few times. This really sucks too.
