Change game difficulty in game?

Is it at all possible to change the difficulty of the game while you're already in it? I want to go up a level now that I know what I'm doing.

I opened my Options and then clicked on GamePlay, and there is no difficulty option at all. I have Enable Persistent Gore

Pause while targeting AOEs,Auto-Pause Tac Camera, and Tac Camera on Mouse Wheel. Now what?

@txchimama; Those are the "Gameplay Options" when you haven't loaded a specific save, but Difficulty is set on a "per-save" basis.  Load the save you're playing, then go to Options ==> Gameplay.

You need to hit "Start New Campaign" it will not allow you to do this in Mission Select.

No idea what you're talking about.  There is no "New Campaign" in DAI, and one can certainly change the game's difficulty setting in the middle of a playthrough.  I've done it many times.
