Can't get golden nug in new game (PS4)

Need help with golden nug please. I finished the the game, I'm connected to the servers, and I fully successfully synced with the golden nug in my first play through, but I can't seem to get the nug in my new game. I saw that the earliest place to see the nug is in Haven next to the blacksmith but it's not there. Am I supposed to progress to a certain point to see the nug or can I get it right when I get to Haven? Please help.
