Be sure to check the box at the beginning of this to show that you are having this problem too. I am wondering how many of you having this problem are using a Logitech G930. I mostly want to try to eliminate that it is the drivers for my headset.
Thanks!

Any updates or possible alternative solutions that people have found so far?

Just checking in again to see if anyone has any new solutions for the sound problem.

I had initial problems on the PS4 version with audio popping and dropouts.
In my case however, most (but not all) of them went away after I ejected and cleaned the game disc, to remove some fingerprints & smudges of unknown origin.

Sadly, I am on a PC, I should probably list my specs I suppose:
AMD Phenom II x6 1090T
Gigabyte 870A-D3P motherboard
16 GB Ram DDR3
Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7950
Logitech G930 Headset

So the game is a digital download then, rather than a disc ?
Assuming yes, I'm sorry I couldnt help.

Yes, it is no problem, I feel lucky that I can play the game but the sound effects cutting in and out just take me out of the game so much I am feeling a little desperate.

Looks like new patch notes are out but nothing about the stuttering sound effects. I guess we are just stuck with it no matter what at this point. Evidently, it isn't a problem for enough people.

In my case its just music, most of the time there is no music, sometimes its playing for like 30 seconds and fading away. No problems with ambient sounds though i can't hear armor sounds while walking and i read somewhere that It should be hereable.
