AMD has released AMD "Omega" Driver 14.12 WHQL

for Windows 8.1 users you should use the "Auto detect" tool since the manual download does NOT CORRECTLY link to the Win8.1 drivers but to the Win7 drivers which will cause the Display Driver to NOT be installed.

Windows 7/8 users can also update to Omega using the Auto detect tool of course.

If you like clean installs, you can search Display Driver Uninstaller on Google.  Sometimes AMD requires full uninstalls to make the most out of new drivers.

That needs a game patch, it's not a fault with the drivers.

The pre-patch blog post for later today does mention Mantle performance.

nope, takes a very long time to load and the fps is really bad..

The FPS was an improvement in terms of Max FPS. But the stutters causes the Min FPS and Avg. FPS to go absurdly low. The loading times however were the most annoying part of Mantle.

AMD "Omega" Driver has lots of optimization too so it should increase overall FPS in games especially on AMD CPU-/APU's(but not limited to) on both DirectX and Mantle.

I'll see after the patch has been pushed to the update server and see if i should recommend everyone to update to 14.12. Maybe EA should look at it to to update Mantle requirements. Since the build number of Mantle API implementation in the driver has increased.

Thanks for posting this.

I have installed it but didn't have time to continue the game. The changelog says up to 15% improvement with AA.

Let's see how it works combined with the new patch, which is said to contain some Mantle optimizations.
