REGION AVAILABILITY ISSUE

Hello all,

 

I hope somebody will be able to help me Standard smile I have an issue with buying Dragon Age 2 game in my region. ( European Union - Slovakia ) I cannot see it within my xbox store however there is available Dragon Age inquisition with all DLCs as well as DA Origins with DLCs. For DA2 There are only DLCs and I already purchased Legacy. If I am trying to buy DA 2 for another Microsoft store page ( Great Britain, Poland etc. ) there`s error message about region inavailability.
I have already contacted both XBOX and EA Support and both said it is upon studio decision what is available where.
They contacted studio by their line but recommend me to open topic on forums to be seen. I hope this is the right space to adress it to Bioware...
Did you have guys same issue? so DLCs are available but game itself not? How did you deal with it?

You're trying to buy Dragon Age II from the Xbox 360 marketplace directly on your console or on the website, is that right?

 

I did a quick search in the Slovakian marketplace and I indeed cannot find the base game, just the two expansions. You're free to correct me if I'm wrong since my Slovakian is not quite good, I'm way better at Polish Wink

yes @EA_Ataashi  You are totally right. I have even bought a legacy expansion coz I thought I will be able to get full game purchase after launching DLC. I was wrong you can`t do anything with DLC until you install full game. It is the same scenario for xbox in app store and microsoft store. I adressed it to both xbox and ea games supports and they mentioned studio team so basically Bioware but every contact to bioware comes back to ea support...

And I am trying it to buy on my xbox one store but this game is backward compatible so that should not be an issue.

Unfortunately no updates for now Frown Our specialists need to contact the studio and Microsoft, so it might take a longer while to fix. But I will notify you as soon as I know something.
