haven't been able to find an answered version of this question, but I just got Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition, and I go to boot up Dragon Age 2 for Christmas and I am greeted with this

)Error code.PNG

I wasn't able to find any Physx update in the directories, and I have since tried uninstalling and reinstalling the PhysX as recommended in the same problem happening (roughly) in Dragon Age Origins.

I checked for other games for solutions to the same error code, and I have the up to date versions of the .net environments, and the most recent directx file set.

Note that I do have d3dcompiler_43 in both my System32 and SysWow64.

I thought I had deleted this before anyone had replied, but the answer was a lot more esoteric.

Hero

If this doesn't work, right click the game in Origin and select the 'Repair Game' option.

thanks that worked for me as well

just a note i also ran the repair and got an error on the Directx component of the verification.

this seems to be a consistent problem with the bioware games running on Windows 10 after a re-install.
