update to game in 2018?

Man if only they could finally patch the vsync and tearing problem with this game. If i enable vsync i get a lot of input lags way more than usual and if i don't then i get a truck load of tearing. Every time i start playing this game i stop after a while cause it's almost unplayable. It's sad cause it looks like a very good game.

I have the PC disc of DS1, but now I cannot find a place to download the patch.   HELP!

Plus yeah I'd like to know what they did to it, if anything.   10 years ago folks.  WOW.  time flies.
