How do you zoom in and out in Dead Space?

Hi there, 

This is my first time playing a game on my PC and I downloaded Dead Space to try it out. When I first played the game, I had trouble seeing where I was going because every time I moved Issac, I can't see what is ahead of me. I tried the mouse to move the view a bit but I can't zoom out. 

I don't know what screen size to play in.

Is there a way to move Issac without having him taking up 80% of the screen? 

I always end up at his side view, a bit of a wall but I can't see the doors. 

Any tips or tricks would be nice. Please let me know.

Hello there,

i would have to ask you to watch some Gameplay-footage to check if you realy got an Problem.

Dead Space was designed to be this way, pretty much like Resident Evil. Many Player had difficulty

with the view at first (cause they couldn´t actually see what they are doing) but accustom themselves

later on with it.
