So I picked this up today, started playing, started co-op, the game crashed at the third cutscene, so rejoin, get past the 4th or 5th cutscene then in the middle of the game, it crashes again. The install is brand new with no corrupt files.
Here are my specs
Windows 8 Profession 64-Bit
Intel Core i5-3570
EVGA GTX 660 Superclocked
Samsung 128GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 1TB (where this game is installed)
8GB 1600MHz Corsair Vengeance RAM

Hey guys,
Fairly frustrated here. Downloaded Deadspace 3 today, and have not been able to successfully launch it. As soon as I launch, immediate crash with "Dead Space 3 has stopped working" reported. I've researched this topic on the net for 2-3 hours or so, trying all of the fixes I can find. All other EA games, e.g. Crysis 3, Dead Space 2 work flawlessly btw.
My rig
Fixes I've tried:
Not really sure where to go from here. I've never had a single compatibility issue and/or game that wouldn't run on this rig.

Its easier to unplug them than to disable and reenable them, just be sure you unplug the right one. I unplugged them one at a time until I found the one that crashed the game. I found it was my Thrustmaster Warthog throttle that was causing the crash.
I can't believe EA hasn't fixed this. Oh wait this is EA never mind.

I start the game and black screen, nothing happens, the monitor tells me that the definition is not the native (1080p), I need to stop the game from the task manager.

The game loads fine and then when I select New game a message pops up "Please wait connecting..." and then it crashes with a "deadspace3.exe has stopped working" error.
I bought the game via humble bundle deal yesterday and haven't been able to play this yet, Any ideas appreciated.
