Dead Space 3 Overlay doesn't work

 Hi there! I've been having a bunch of issues regarding the Overlay for Dead Space 3, and I've gone and tried everything from the beta, all the graphics options in game, the Origin setting several times, so on so forth, but nothing has worked, and I really want to be able to go through this with a friend, we were gonna do Impossible together, but at this rate we won't be able to.
