Dead Space 3 Origin in Game not popping up

I cannot access the downloadable content menu or my friends list, making it impossible as far as I know to play with friends. It is enabled in settings yet does not show up.

@DaBluJay have you already tried to re-install Origin on your system. Just get the latest version from our website: www.origin.com/download

You should also make sure that you running Origin as administrator and add Origin to the exception list of your firewall/antivirus software.
