FOR PC VERSION
My NAT type is set to strict, and it's my understanding that I need to forward the ports to change it to open. Problem is, I have no idea what the ports for it are and Google is of no help. Does anyone know what the ports I need to open are?

Hi,
I have the same problem und tried to open the ports by your discribtion basti. But I dont understand it at all... What Number of
"TCP: 80, 443, 9988, 20000-20100, 22990, 17502, 42127
UDP: 3659, 14000-14016, 22990-23006, 25200-25300"
is the triggerport? In my router acor-easybox A 600 WLAN I have to fill in a triggerport and then i can type in max. 5 TCP or UDP number for each triggerport. I also just want to play with a friend. When we was connected on the same router, we could play and hadn´t that problems... So it whould be nice when u could discribe it a bit more exectly, I mean f.e.: Triggerport: 80 and TCP for it: 20000-20100.
Hope u can halp me Basti

Hello.
I'm having the same issue.
I found this post though and opened all the ports you refered, had UPnP on all the time, restarted my router, restarted PC, logged off and on of Origin and still my Nat is Strict. Disabled firewall on router, tried again, still strict.
Maybe there are some more ports to open?
Also, yesterday i played with a friend in co-op and everything was going well but all of a sudden my partner lost connection and we are unable to join each other's games ever since. Is this a common issue? We even tried hamachi to help with our connection but the game just says "failed to join".
Thank you.

I have the same problem.
I've opened the ports you mentioned, but my NAT type is still strict.
The weird thing is that my PS3 shows that I have NAT type 2, if I check it through the Playstation network settings, but I'm stuck with NAT type strict in-game.

Hi guys,
today I tryed some **bleep**, to get DS3 for Pc finaly work. So it means to play with a friend. First of all we oppen the ports, basti shows in his comment. Then we activate UPnP at the routersettings. At least we enable the firewall on the router and my friend at his CPU and it works suddenly. But it cant be a solution, that u can only play without a firewall...
Hope I could help some
