Dead Space 3: Awakened hasn't been on sale for a year

Looking at the price history, the Awakened DLC was discounted around this time last year, but it's nowhere to be seen on the current Black Friday sale.

Back in 2017 the DLC was on sale for 1 day in January, and in 2018 it was on sale during Black Friday and again in December.

The reason I've been waiting for a discount is because I plan on purchasing two copies so I can play with a friend.

So, any reason why this DLC is always left out of most Origin sales?
