[ Edited ]
★★★ Newbie

I just installed dead space 3 and was playing with a friend, the audio works fine on my headphones until i get into the co op lobby, then the game audio goes from my headset and goes through the speakers on my laptop, but when my friend is talking it comes through the headset and thats it.

im using turtle beach x11 headset

dxdiag: (i had to cut some out because of the 20k character limit)

what's weirdis I'm having the same problem as well as others and there has been no fixes or answers posted up about any of this only one answer I saw was "your drivers may be corrupted -thread closed-" it'd be nice to have a fix for this

I actually found a fix shortl after I posted this, just make sure your headphones aren't set to "default communication device" and that headphones and speakers are the all around default, that fixed it for me.

Dead Space 3 Audio Switching

★★★ Newbie

When I start Dead Space 3 the audio comes out of my speaker system perfectly fine.  After a minute or so or after starting a game the audio switched to the laptops internal speakers.  Any suggestions?  The original Dead Space and other games I have are fine.

Dead Space 3 Origin Conflicts with Acer V3-471G Dolby Home Theater

★★★ Novice

Hi.. I came to ask is there a fix for the conflict on Dolby Home Theater when you play Dead Space 3? Every time I continue from last save (I think), Origin disables the home theater audio feature. But it works fine when I'm not playing Dead Space 3. Help please?

Re: Dead Space 3 Audio cuts from headphones to speakers

Damn I got it finally, yes the problem IS BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES SPEAKER, but it's not that obviously easy to turn it off in Windows - after going to sound panel you should disable it in TWO tabs like in my picture (sry, my Windows is russian but I think you'll get it :P )

It still sucks that you have to do it, though. But then again I encountered that trouble in other games aswell.
