Can't re-map key bindings in Dead Space1

How do I remap the key bindings in Dead Space 1

Hey @bleph no EA games support Windows 11, as such if having issues with games on it then the level of support we can offer is limited.

Do you see a folder called Dead Space in that location?

I'm Playing on a PC

Hey @bleph if playing on PC then it is not possible to remap the keys in-game.

Now, all is not lost, in the past it has been possible to remap the keys outside of the game by editing the file. To do this open up: C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Electronic Arts\Dead Space

If you edit the following segments you can change the in-game movement to the arrow keys:

5C: CB
AC: D0
14C: C8
23C: CD

OK, but which particular file are you talking about?

@EA_Darko Thank you, but you're going to have to pretend that you're talking to someone who doesn't know these things and by that i mean i'll need an actual file location, there are multiple directories in the game install location.
