What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? I Adzy I
Please provide your squad mates' gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name if possible.
Are you using any software with an overlay? No
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)? Lifeline
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. When i just loaded the game and started to sign in
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Signing into apex
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? No
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? I cant remember
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) it started after the apex cross progression update came out
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot sign in to my EA Apex account, and it says that my profile cannot play online. I have checked my ea accounts, and there are no bans, suspensions or server problems, so I am very worried. Sometimes, it allows me to load in; however, I cannot load into any game mode, including the firing range. In addition, it doesn't allow me and my friends to join and play with one another; when I check how many people are in my lobby, it says '0'.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to load in without any problems, play any game mode and be able to accept and invite my friends toplay
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to log in to apex on xbox

It says unknown as well on my apex profile in-game

To confirm do you have a connection issue with any other EA game, or another online game? 

 

Also, if you have not can we try the following steps?

 

 


 

@DermyC95 To confirm are you on a Series X as well, and have you gotten the message for Cross Progression?

@Halo7865 I’m having the same problem, there is zero support or comms about this issue. I have loads of heirlooms and skins on this account….

Hello,

my problem is that 2 days ago I received the cross progression notification, but when I clicked on CONTINUE, it took about 3 seconds to load and at the end, it gave me an error that said "THIS ACCOUNT IS NOT PERMITTED TO PLAY ONLINE. SEE EA.COM/UNABLE-TO-CONNECT FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION".

What I did was close APEX and relaunch the game, I was able to enter the game and the lobby, but the cross progression didn't happen. The message WELCOME TO CROSS PROGRESSION never appeared.

Currently, I play on PlayStation which is my oldest account, but I have an Xbox account that I used for almost 3 years and it is the one linked to my EA.COM account.

Please help me with this.

I’m having the same problem my Xbox account won’t let me play ever since I pressed continue. I can’t ready up or anything. I haven’t played in like a week and a half.

@xt0xicxgirl Same exact problem, no help online, unlinked on ea relinked uninstalled reinstalled, no luck, Xbox as well. Cannot invite club members or join them from invites, strangely all my skins are accounted for, but level not displaying above caracter head? 🤦‍♂️ dying here

I have had this issue since the beginning of December 2023 and still have it today 03 Jan 2024. I have spoken with chat help and EA loads now just want a fix. Ever since cross progression my apex given me the message “Profile not permitted to play online”. Even though apex help line have looked at my account and say nothing is wrong. HELP PLEASE

Me too!! I’m really stressed out and haven’t played in over 2 weeks Frown after cross progression happened I was so excited to start playing on my Xbox. Everything is there all my heirlooms and progress it’s just the playing that’s not working for me. “Party not ready” when i luckily get into the lobby and also “profile not permitted” when not able to get in. Ea please help me ❤️ My user on Xbox is Tombhunter98
