Different EA accounts cross progression

★★★ Newbie

Hi, I had an EA account linked to my Xbox years back when Apex first came out, but then when I switched to PC I ended up using Steam and not my EA Account before cross progression was announced. So I have the problem of my Steam account being on one EA account and my Xbox being on another and I cannot link either one to either of the accounts. What can I do? I'd really like to connect both accounts.

Hey @mihalio2003,

Did you have progress on both your Xbox and Steam accounts, or primarily just the Steam account?

Since these are on two separate EA accounts, there is unfortunately not a way to combine progress. Cross Progression allows all platforms on a single EA account to access the same content, but there's not a way to merge that between accounts entirely.

If you only have progress you're wanting to keep on one account and you'd really just like to access that with both Steam and Xbox, you can look into unlinking the platform from your EA account and moving it over. This will not transfer any progress, and will leave it behind on the old EA account.

Our guides below cover these scenarios a bit more, but feel free to let me know if you have further questions!

What's EA Play?

New name, new look, same great benefits: EA Access and Origin Access are now EA Play.
