Apex cross progression

[ Edited ]
★★★ Newbie

After playing apex on playstation previously I switched to pc and started playing through steam under the same account connected to my playstation. I started fresh and made quite a lot of progress and spent a little bit of money on the game, in the end i ended up surpassing my ps account. After taking a break from the game I came back today only to find that for some reason an account merge wiped my pc account from existence, so all of my progress on an account with at the very least 200+ levels was taken up by a level 52 account that has a very small amount of items that carried over. How is it that out of nowhere 80% of my account can be deleted and the is nothing i can do about it

Hey @z3ro134,

Do you recall any other emails or EA accounts that may have been used in the past?

I'm not showing the account you're posting with has ever launched Apex on PlayStation, so since you mentioned playing on that system in the past it must have been on another account.

Unlinking any platforms from your EA account will cause a loss of progress, as that progress is stored on the EA account where it was first earned, not the individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, etc.

For the account you're posting on, the platform around level 50 was the highest level. If you previously played and had a 200+ level account, that was not this one.

If you don't recall which account that may have been or no longer have access to the email, it will be best to get in touch with our support team.

They will need to try and locate the account using any other information you may recall, such as the PlayStation username. From there they can help update the login information if needed.

If you create a new case here and select Game Support > The EA app > I want to update my EA Account information or I need help logging in to my EA Account, you should be able to get in touch with the support team so they can assist further.
