When I first heard about cross progression coming to Apex Legends I was ecstatic because I recently got a PC and I’ve been a long time PlayStation player. I’ve had a PlayStation since I was in elementary school hence the reason why my guardian initially created me an account using his email. Now, I’m a freshman in college and have my very own PC therefore I wanted to change my guardian's email to my personal email on PlayStation Network. After changing my PSN email and linking it to my EA account I had high hopes that the cross progression would be successful and I’d be able to play on PC with all my cosmetics (heirloom, event skins, apex packs) *which I’ve earned on PS4 & PS5 while playing for the past 4 years*. Unfortunately that was not the case, when I logged on PC and finally got the cross progression notice from the startup screen I was shocked to see an empty new account by the same username as my originally named console account. However, this account had none of my cosmetics, stats, apex coins, or even unlocked legends. This unfortunate sight gave me the idea to check my console and sadly the cross progression was unsuccessful. It seems to have shared this empty unfamiliar account across both platforms. I understand that glitches and bugs happen often in the gaming world but the loss of a whole account is completely unacceptable especially when the account has been established nearly since the video games' birth. Please help me regain my account or at least the cosmetics I’ve lost. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.
