Apex Cross Progression tab won’t close

I logged into apex to get ready for the final fantasy event coming on the 9th and the tab for cross progression came up on my series X, I pressed A to continue and nothing happened, I had closed the game and opened it over and over and already uninstalled and reinstalled the game, damn near everything and nothing seems to be helping, anyone got a fix?
