If you read my previous post about suggesting ammo categorization changes, then you read some weapon concepts I listed as well.
I will touch on those in this post as well as other concepts I have been pondering.
Details on each one will be listed below!
Cricket
Ammo Type: LIGHT
Gun Type: Pistol
Ammo Size: 6 Rounds
Characteristics: Very fast re-load time, Fast ROF, Semi-Auto, Low damage output
Notes: Great for a secondary weapon when needing to down an enemy that has minimal health left to take out.

77-Swell
Ammo Type : ENERGY
Gun Type: Pistol
Ammo Size: 12 Rounds or 1 Charged Shot
Characteristics: Normal Rounds = Mild Re-load time, Fast ROF, Semi-Auto, Very Low Damage Output ; Charged Shot = Long charge time, Travels fast, Strong damage output
Notes: Mimics the Plasma Pistol from the HALO series, This dual-purposed energy pistol will either scratch the enemy or deliver a fatal blow. (Charged Shot results in automatic need to reload after firing + minimum 6 Rounds needed for Charged Shot to commence).

Bullfrog
Ammo Type: ENERGY
Gun Type: Launcher
Ammo Size: 3 Rounds
Characteristics: Slow re-load time, Rounds launch up and dive down in curve fashion, Heavy output damage
Notes: Works similar to Fuse's grenade "throws" but the distance is much shorter.

Sparrow RPG
Ammo Type: SPECIAL (Rockets)
Gun Type: Launcher / Special Ranged
Ammo Size: 2 Rounds
Characteristics: Very Slow re-load time, Slow ROF, Very High damage output, Limited Ammo
Notes: Weapon is rarely found, limited amount of ammo given (4 Rounds)

Storm Blade
Ammo Type: SPECIAL / (Power)
Weapon Type: Melee / Special Melee
Uses: 18 Strikes
Characteristics: Normal attack speed, Heavy Damage output, Can Mildly block weapon fire
Notes: Weapon is rarely found, limited amount of uses (18 Strikes), Breaks doors in 2 Strikes

Thunder Club
Ammo Type: SPECIAL / (Power)
Weapon Type: Melee / Special Melee
Uses: 12 Strikes
Characteristics: Slow attack speed, Very Heavy Damage output
Notes: Weapon is rarely found, limited amount of uses (12 Strikes), Breaks doors with 1 Strike

Obviously, you can see where a lot of my inspiration is from...
Regardless, I truly believe these weapons would add crazy, new dynamics to the game but without being overused or boring.
(The way these weapons are categorized / named are subject to change should I feel a new spark of creativity ensues) Also, I may add more weapons in the future!

I like these. Favorite of mine would have to be the two pistols. I would like to see how different Cricket is from the P2020. I probably wouldn't use the others but it would be interesting to see them balanced. Now I'm not too sure how I feel about the weapons. I get the idea you were going for by making them break after a few uses. Presumably, they would also be rare; maybe even care-packaged. But I'd like to hear what else you come up with.
