None of these are working Origin needs to step up its game.

I Did this and Worked with me

Just go to the game folder , right click on the RA2.exe and choose properties

choose the compatibility tab 

then ,  click on change settings for all users

do the following :

1. run this program in compatibility mode for --> windows 7

2. run in 640 x 480 screen resolution

3. run as administrator

I think number 2 may be enough ,

@farez101 Actually, forcing it to 640x480 screen resolution might not even work on some modern widescreens. Also, it, um, restricts you to 640x480 mode, while the whole game is designed for 800x600 (Yuri's Revenge even requires 800x600 minimum since it's the size of its videos) and generally played on much larger resolutions. The graphics system patch DDWrapper, with the "ForceDirectDrawEmulation" option enabled in its config file (aqrit.cfg) generally solves the issue.

Game is working good on windows 10, when i start it all is working perfectly, even widescreen in game is good, my problem is when I press Alt+Tab, I can nrver return to the game properly, same black screen!

The graphics system patch DDWrapper is known to solve some graphics issues on RA2. You could try that.

Download the zip file and extract "ddraw.dll" and "aqrit.cfg" into your game folder. Then, open the configuration file "aqrit.cfg" in Notepad, change the "ForceDirectDrawEmulation" option to 1, save the file, and the game should work.

Alternatively, you could try downloading CnCNet online which also fixes the compatibility problems.
