When I launch CnC Remastered, it says it needs administrator privileges

Every time I launch CnC Remastered from EA Desktop, I get a message saying "This game requires administrator priveleges to launch". Clicking OK triggers the UAM prompt in Windows.

Is there a way to avoid this? I can't imagine that a game released in the last 10 years really needs admin privileges to run!

Like all issues with EA games, I notice there hasn't been any resolution or assitance added.

It why I avoid buying EA games.
