Aww, that sucks... Hope it's being considered for future remasters games. Only steam version has a centralized mod manager downloader which means that the value and general usability of the origin version is tampered as you have to manually download and install every mod (with some mods exclusive on steam meaning that in order to download them you have to rely on a third party tool). Some great games like mud/snowrunner, TABS do get a lot of benefits from supporting mod.io to manage the mods like crossplatform modding support (EGS/Steam/GOG/Xbox/Gamepass).
