I cannot access the online part of this game, as It's telling me I need the update.

Do I need to uninstall the game, and re-install it?

Reboot your computer then start the game and follow the prompts to log on and get any updates you need, play your game.

I tried that CNET patch thing but the patch program keeps crashing mid update
