burnout paradise remastered

Game freezes and then crashes.

The game just freezes when I have to choose the Car Category with which I want to play. The thing is, if I use the "Up Arrow / Down Arrow" buttons, I can hear how I scroll through the list. And when I push Enter, the game crashes.

I really don't know what could cause this. Also, I am trying to play the game on a brand new laptop. I even tried to play the game in Offline Mode, but it doesn't work.

Thanks for adding your Dxdiag.

First, when you run Origin, right click the desktop icon and then "Run as an Administrator".

Your machine may be defaulting to your Intel video processing on your CPU rather than your NVIDIA GPU.

Make sure your display is connected to your video card and not your motherboard and then follow these steps:

1. Open the nvidia Control Panel
2. Click Manage 3D settings
3. Click the Program Settings tab
4. Click the Add button
5. Select the game from the list or click browse and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Burnout Paradise\BurnoutParadise.exe
6. Select BurnoutParadise.exe and then Open
7. Customise individual settings if you like
8. Exit nvidia control panel and try playing.

i get the intro speech but no video after that its just black screen. i do get the Paradise city intro song and video, but not the tutorial video

Yes, it worked Thank you!

But now I have another problem, every time I finish a race or press ESC, the game crashes.
