Burnout Paradise Remastered PC Crashing on initial loading screen

I don't have a solution. But from what I'm gathering from all these replies so far, it looks like it happens on Windows 7.

I am using windows 10, same issues.

not camera related but pause menu and graphics settings do cause crashes.

So.. have we been screwed? Not a patch in sight, the game keeps crashing when trying to play online, and the solutions people post don't work for everybody...

And to add on top, looks like the problem is with special characters, thing that happened with GTA V on launch and R* fixed it, the user should not need to create a new user to play one game.

It seems very unlikely, unfortunately, but at least I only spent $5 so I guess not all is lost.

This game dont need a fix or something.

To get the game working in linux, i have tested the game in a fresh windows 10 installation and it worked flawless.

Switching to another windows account without Non-English letters worked for me, I had the same problem with "A Tale of Two Sons" and now I will use my secondary account for those two games, it might not be a perfect solution but it's good enough for me

Any chance you can let us know what kind of name you used for the second one? Is it supposed to not have spaces at all?

It's just an Email, I can't tell because... well it's an Email, just don't use any letters that isn't English, you can call the second one Bicycle or Television, or even a number, just don't use any Non-English letters and special characters
