Betreff: Burnout Paradise Remastered PC Crashing on initial loading screen

That didn't worked either sadly :/
I mean I have Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x86) and Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable (x64)
But I don't have Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x64)

Do I need to install  Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x64) instead of Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable (x64) ?

• Please uninstall VC++ 2017 > reboot. (VC++ versions should be installed in Order of release.)
• Then go to your ">drive<:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\BurnoutPR\__Installer\vc\vc2015\redist" folder.
• Run the "vc_redist.x64.exe" and the "vc_redist.x86.exe" as an Administrator. (Right click the exe > Run as an Administrator)
• reboot > test.

Did you also installed the VC++ 2015 package I linked in post #240?

Please create a new DxDiag.

Also go to your Reliability monitor > Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time and copy and paste or type "perfmon /rel" (without the quotes) in the new Window > hit “ENTER” and look if it has entries for BPR.

If yes double click at the last entry for the game executable, copy the info to the clipboard, and save it to a text file.

 

Furthermore, run the Windows System File Checker Sfc /scannow:

• Press the Windows key and "X" at the same time.
• Choose "PowerShell" (Adminisrator)" or "Command prompt (Administrator)"
• In the "PowerShell" or "CMD" window, at the prompt, type or copy and paste "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" (Without the quotes) > ENTER. 
• After the process finished successfully, type or copy and past: "sfc /scannow" (Without the quotes) > ENTER.
• Post the concluding message.

@RazorsEdgeX that crash is releated to some software in your OS conflicting with the game, to find it and unninstall it is going to be annoying, ones that give out problems is dxtory and allavsoft downloader that I remember of, if you don't have either it's going to be try and error to find which one it is.

VCRUNTIME140.dll is a component of the 2015 Redistributable so installing or repairing both of the vc_redist executables from your game install location (as above) should help here.

Yes, that is the error I saw earlier in your first DxDiag. I expected to see a diffrent one now because the Vc++ repairing and installations didn't helped.

Please preform a clean boot (sauberen Neustart)  and test the Game afterwards.

Also if it would be easier for you to speak about this in German, let my know. We can move this conversation to the German board.

I uninstalled dxtory but that didnt change anything. It gets annoying now.
If I look in installed programs I see that the 2015 x86 isnt present. Tried to install it myself from the __installer directory, but it errors out. Maybe there is the problem. But on the other hand the person above did reinstall vc and apparently it doesnt help either. so the motivation to uninstall 2017 and so on is low. The vc stuff is so bad programmed anyway. thousands of vc installations feels so stupid. Why not just one version which gets updates. I dont get it.
And why there is no patch for this game. Other games dont have these problems and especially not with DXTory lol
I'm atm in the mood of a refund. This annoys me atm so much.
