Can you also let us know if downloading and installing both the x86 and x64 components of the following package helps with this please?

I also can't play. The game just straight up refuses to even LAUNCH! I hit the play button and... NOTHING! I do notice the game's executable starting on task manager before suddenly closing without any errors. I've tried restarting, verifying the game files, uninstalling all of my web cam stuff, and even unplugging my phone.

Got the exact same issue as everyone else. Immediate CTD after the "connecting to server" message, every time. No option to even automatically send a bug report. This needed some more time in the oven, I think.

Can anyone seeing a crash issue when the game gets to 'connecting to server' please set Origin to Offline mode and let us know if you can then play please?
Origin menu -> Go Offline -> try playing -> reply here with your results
