Burnout Paradise Remastered Crash (Origin PC)

★★ Novice

I've literally tried every fix for this. Basically, when I load up burnout paradise, the loading screen pops up and I am greeted with the EA logo then the Criterion logo. After all that, the screen freezes when it's about to hit the play menu, you can still here the noise it makes when you hover your mouse over the options, but the screen is still frozen. When you go and click on one of the options it just crashes. I have a 2017 gaming laptop that should be capable of running this game.

Here is a list of the things I've tried:

-Clear Origin Cache

-Go on offline mode

-Go on Nvidia controls and change burnout paradise to my Nvidia GPU

-Unplug all USB things out of my laptop

-Click repair on the game

-Uninstall and reinstall both origin and the actual game

-Shutdown google chrome and programs taking to much CPU

Is there anymore helpful options? I'm going to ask for a refund as this is the only game I want to play if there is no fixes. I've also left a DxDiag report, take a look if needed.

Hey @VaciveMind

It sounds like there might be a program running in the background that's conflicting with the Origin client.

Have you tried a Clean Boot?

It could also be a permission issue. Try right-clicking on the Origin desktop shortcut and run it as administrator.
