Bike Paint Problems Burnout Remastered PS4

I have unlocked the two unlockable bikes in Burnout Paradise Remastered. It will not let me paint them though, the game keeps saying "bring your car to a repair shop first to paint". It is a bike and not a car, they cannot use repair shops. Looking online, it seems this obscure and frustrating glitch was present in the ps3 and xbox 360 version of the game years ago as well. The long and short of the issue I have is that a decade old glitch is still very present, and I can't access my paint options for unlock able bikes in the junkyard. After hours on your live chat I got somewhat of an answer, but I'm still confused. Can you please confirm for me that a) the developers are aware of the glitch, and that b) they are working to fix it? That is what was implied in the chat, but I want to be doubly sure. I only grinded through the bike events to get the flag skins, which I cannot access along with any other colour options
