When selecting planet, cursor changes from Spore cursor to Windows cursor

When I move the mouse over a planet to hit the play button, the cursor changes from the Spore cursor to a Windows cursor and won't let me start my game.

Never heard of such a problem with spore.
Did you change your screen resolution settings?

I don't work for EA, but I‘m the helping hands for Sims on Mac, Simpsons players …
